My daughter and I are dissapointed in this toy RC vehicle. Of course, the idea is great. A cool, hip RC car that will take your 'Moxie Girlz' dolls for a ride! WOW, how about that! Unfortunately, in this case, you and your daughter are the ones 'taken for a ride' if you purchase this lousy product. The product has MANY flaws. Where do I start? First and foremost, this vehicle is so low to the ground, it won't work even on a very low pile carpet or even on some uneven tile. Many apartments and homes are carpeted. The wheels will spin and 'moxie car' won't go anywhere. Secondly, the tires on this thing should be made of softer rubber for better grip. I have many RC cars, even inexpensive ones, and they grip well. These hard rubber/plastic ones dont. In addition, the gearing on this car is so high that the wheels 'burn rubber' from the get-go, which makes the car hard to handle when it 'fishtails'. There should be a low speed/low gearing switch on this thing. Lastly, the car doesn't have a steering control. You can go forward and backwards, but you can't steer or turn with any kind of precision. At the thirty dollar price point, surely a 'Made In China' RC vehicle should have basic 'left and right' steering. Clearly, the company that makes this cheap, cutesy RC vehicle has cut corners bigtime, and is relying on their marketing brand (Moxie Girlz) to sell these shoddy and poorly designed RC cars to unsuspecting consumers.
