We bought this for our 3 and 1/2 year old because she has begged for barbie and a house for barbie. It is awesome!! I think its fairly durable for what it is, a plastic dollhouse. Although we have a fairly careful daughter who doesn't typically break toys. I would highly recommend this for anyone with a barbie lover. The only reason I considered it for its somewhat high pricetag is because it comes with all the furniture and all the lights and sounds. They are totally worth it. All of the things work in our house and it only took me, the mom, a little over a half an hour to put together, stickers and all.
