Purchase this American Girl type dress for my daughter's Samantha doll. It was advertised that it would fit the Samantha doll and other dolls similar. What a let down for my daughter, when she opened it for her birthday, all excited and then put the dress on and it won't close in the back. The dress was about 1 1/2 inches shy of closing. The hat that came with the outfit was too small and the elastic broke immediately. My daughter is 10, so it's not like she is hard on stuff. Not happy with the end result.
